Wie is Sylvia Drijvers?

Mijn naam is Sylvia Drijvers-Merschmann. De dubbele n verklapt het al, van origine ben ik Duits, maar ondertussen heb ik al weer ruim 21 jaar mijn roots in Oisterwijk. Een heerlijke plek waar ik me super thuis voel.

Authentiek en eerlijk, dat is wat ik ben en waar ik voor sta. Open staan voor nieuwe contacten en nieuwe ontwikkelingen. Altijd voorop willen lopen, dat is wat ik graag doe. Daarbij is een altijd aanwezig luisterend oor een welkome eigenschap.

Interieur en architectuur, een mooie combinatie.

Samen met mijn vriend én man Niels (geboren en getogen in Oisterwijk) run ik een architectenbureau, gespecialiseerd in villabouw en restauratie van monumenten. Dat hier een mooi interieur deel van uit moet maken is logisch. De combinatie om beide disciplines onder één dak te hebben biedt veel voordelen. Op deze manier kunnen we totaalconcepten aanbieden en vanaf de eerste schets ex – en interieur op elkaar afstemmen. De korte lijnen binnen ons kantoor maken het voor onze opdrachtgevers erg plezierig. Ook voor de inrichting van bedrijfsgebouwen heb ik al tal van mooie opdrachten mogen maken. Van ijssalons tot kantoren. Denk binnen Oisterwijk bijvoorbeeld aan SEC en Andriessen / Citrus op de KVL.

Het opstellen van een lichtplan, kleurenplan, maar ook het volledig ontwerpen van keuken, badkamer en overig vaste interieur is aan de orde van de dag. Keuzes maken voor wand- en vloerafwerkingen en het uitzoeken van het meubilair. Vooral de keuken voor particuliere projecten vormt de spil van ieder huis, zodat ik met een gaaf keukenontwerp dan echt een sfeermaker kan neerzetten en het huis de “final touch” geef.

De mens achter het verhaal is altijd belangrijk. Zorg voor kwaliteit en nooit genoegen nemen met minder dan het beste staat centraal.

Het bezoeken van beurzen en onderhouden van contacten met leveranciers is in mijn discipline erg belangrijk. Binnenkort staat Milaan weer op het programma, een leuke mix van gave nieuwe producten en Italiaanse gezelligheid. Het leven is kort, dus is de zoektocht naar mooie producten en ‘mooie’ mensen onophoudelijk.

Bouwbegeleiding is 1 van de leuke kanten van mijn werk. De bouw is nog steeds een mannendomein, waar ik me als vrouw altijd moet bewijzen, wat ik overigens heerlijk vindt. Mét mensen gave dingen maken en zorgen dat de kwaliteit dat is, wat ik en de opdrachtgever er van verwachten. En liefst nog een beetje meer .

Ik ben trots op ons team van inmiddels 10 man sterk, waarmee we echt gave projecten op een hoog kwaliteitsniveau kunnen neerzetten. Samenwerken aan kwaliteit. Dat is waar Drijvers voor staat. Ben trots op ons bedrijf dat inmiddels al 70 jaar een begrip is en waarvoor ik al ruim 18 jaar met volle overtuiging werk.

Waarom ben ik lid van de Toestroom?

Aan willen sluiten bij een leuke en gevarieerde club ondernemende mensen is waarom ik lid ben geworden van de Toestroom. Leuke sprekers en af en toe een borrel, want een gezellig samenzijn mag zeker niet ontbreken.

Wat heeft de Toestroom aan mij?

Het is altijd een geven en nemen in verenigingen en clubs. Dat doe ik dan ook graag. Mensen in contact brengen en ervoor zorgen dat de juiste mensen elkaar ontmoeten om op die manier het werk en het leven efficiënter en gezelliger te maken. Ik breng altijd positiviteit mee, ik ben ervan overtuigt dat je met passie en eerlijkheid de leukste dingen voor elkaar krijgt.
